NEW ADVENTURE planned

Here we are again ... with a second Planes, Trains and Automobiles trip. First question ... what do we call it? Planes, Trains and Automoblies 2, North by Northeast, Coast to Coast or Go East, Young Man, Go East. Any suggestions? I'm not very creative today...

Here's what's planned. We'll leave home by train and catch the firstvia Martinez, CA (a small town near San Francisco) and then travel up to Portland, Oregon. After a few days there, (we hope to visit some relatives) we'll head out on the Northernmost train route across Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan Illinois , Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY, Massachusetts, and into Washington DC. We'll leave from NY by plane. Planned stops are Oregon (Portland), Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul and Walnut Grove), Illinois (Chicago) Michigan (Dearborn-outside of Detroit), ), NY (Buffalo, NYC, and Long Island), Massahusetts (Springfield and Boston), and DC.

Do any of you have suggestions of the "must see" places? One of the places I'm looking forward to is Niagara Falls. I just learned a great, great grandfather has been to this site, but my family, having lived in NY for over12 years, have never seen it!!!

Something else that's different this time is the focus that we'll be mindful to look for people we can "bless" along the way. This idea came to us from KLOVE, the radio station we all like listening to. They have a "Make-A-Difference-Monday" and have extended it to more than 1 day a week. So we'll be prayerfully looking for people who may need an encouraging word, some help, or even a meal. Since our trip is budgeted with limited funds, we'll depend on our Lord to direct our steps. You can partner with us by praying that we'll hear God's voice and His direction.
